What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
I love a class. Anything sweaty where the tunes drive the workout! 🔥
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
For my 30th, I backpacked with no set itinerary around the world for three months! 🌎
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I once auditioned to be in a Smash Hits pop band and I was on TV! Don't tell anyone. 📺

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
I love hiking and wild swimming! 🏊♀️
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pulled chicken tacos and no holding back in the nacho cheese sauce. 🧀
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
When I went to Kenya I went on Safari and helped out at some of the local schools, teaching dance and supporting in their classes. 🇰🇪

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
I’m in my low impact strength training era.. so reformer Pilates, strength training & getting the steps in!!

If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Has to be corn fritters with poached eggs & bacon - if you’re on a retreat with me I’ll share the recipie with you.. you’ll thank me later 🌽
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
Solo travelling to Bali to do my 200h Yoga teacher training! ✨
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I love hosting themed soirées. Still yet to get a themed retreat over the line 😆

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
I cycle everywhere, and I love group fitness - especially Hyrox simulation classes at my gym. Anything where I can move to a beat with some great tunes and a bit of healthy competition! 🎧
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hainajese Chicken rice but it has to be from this one food court in Singapore, so logistically tough but quite frankly worth the flight! 🍚
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
I would say moving to the other side of the world when I was 21 from a small country town, coming out and watching how utterly fabulous my life would become when I embraced true authenticity. 🇦🇺

Walking! If there's one thing I took from 2020, it would be the joy and benefits of walking for pleasure. 🌸
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I'm going to be basic and say poached eggs on toast with avo. Years in the brunch capital Clapham has taught me this! 🥑
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
Working on cruise ships, sailing the world. I've seen some crazy sights, both ashore and onboard! 🛳️
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I used to be an illusionist's assistant! Yes, I was levitated and hid in small boxes! 🪄

I walk my dog- she’s a Bedlington whippet called ‘Bellle’! 🐶
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If calories weren’t a factor, fish & chips! Otherwise, an IRL choice would be a salmon poke bowl. 🍱
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
Driving from LA to San Fran in a convertible mustang, via Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite Park and Big Sur! 🇺🇸
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I used to play the Bugle in the Girls Brigade! 🚨

Amanda leads innovation and education for Workout Away Pilates, and is also a Retreat Host on our fitness escapes.
What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
Weight training on the reformer, beach runs and cold water dips! 🌊
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
Sky diving in Dubai but then passing out on the way down. Luckily it was a tandem! 🫣
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I come across as a girly girl but also love extreme sports like fliteboarding & skiing black runs. Bit of an adrenaline junky! 💥

Dancing! In a dance class or in my living room. 💃
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Smoked Salmon, mustard and pickle bagel (sounds wrong but it’s so right)! 🥯
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
Life, ha! No no… Probably my trip to Japan. 🇯🇵

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
A bike ride and a run - training for a half Ironman and still trying not to talk about it too much. 🏃
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Dim sum, so much variety and can’t go wrong! 🥟
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
A two week trek through the Himalayan range, would love to do Everest base camp of Kilimanjaro at some point! 🏔️
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I’ve been told that my chilled and relaxed personality often misleads the workouts I deliver. Like an oxymoron - silent but deadly, but with a motivational pat on the back. 😈

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
Going to a Dance class! I am an ex-pro dancer so I love to dance any chance I get! 🪩
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I have such a sweet tooth so I have to say protein pancakes! I have them after my workout every Friday #pancakefriday 🥞
What’s the biggest adventure you’ve ever been on?
I'm so lucky to have travelled so much as a dancer. Every show I did always felt like an adventure. But what sticks out in my mind was living in Japan for a year, learning a new culture, language and way of life is something I will never forget. ✈️
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I use to be a back up dancer for Bindi Irwin at Australia Zoo! 🐊

What’s your favourite way to stay active outside of teaching?
I do a lot of hiking back home and I love surfing, dancing, snowboarding, wakeboarding etc... anything fun and exhilarating. 🇦🇺
If you could only eat one meal after a workout for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love a good smoothie bowl after training. I've been spoiled through lots of time in Bali and living in Australia. 🍓
What’s one thing about you that might surprise our retreaters?
I didn't grow up with an athletic background and I know exactly how challenging it feels to be a beginner in the fitness realm. I went on my own fitness journey in my early twenties and lost over 30kgs and changed my life and that's exactly why I'm so passionate about helping others! 💪
